Heat pump deliveries in Finland grew strongly during the first half of 2026. A total of 74,000 heat pumps were delivered between January and June, representing a 63% increase compared with the same period in 2025.
Growth was recorded across all key product categories. The strongest growth was seen in air-to-air heat pumps, with deliveries increasing by as much as 71%. Deliveries of exhaust air heat pumps increased by 29%, air-to-water heat pumps by 21%, and ground-source heat pumps by 18%.
The strong sales growth in the first half of the year indicates that the heat pump market is once again returning to a growth trajectory. Finland has a large installed base of almost 2 million heat pumps, and the need to replace existing systems provides the market with a significant and continuous source of demand.
